Casper’s Camp Hope are life savers! Literally! My Lelouch became uncontrollable and very aggressive when I was battling cancer in 2017. He was 18 months old and extremely insecure. After several vicious attacks on my other dog and numerous conflicts with my neighbors, everyone was screaming at me to get him euthanized… including my three kids. Fortunately, I found Casper’s Camp Hope and had him rehabilitated and trained instead. In the beginning, it was hard and difficult to stay disciplined with the rules. I learned the hard way not to break the rules when Lelouch attacked my other dog because of it. I was ready to give up. I called CCH and they talked me through the frustration while reminding me of the importance of following the rules. I had to remain disciplined. It’s been a long road, but it has become easier with time. Even though I keep my two dogs that fight apart, this year I introduced 3 new pups to my home and was ecstatic with Lelouch’s response. Even in play, I’m still cautious of his body language and willwill remove the pups if I notice him getting agitated. He has come a long way and he will be 10 years old this December!! Again, when he was 18 months old, I was told to euthanize him and now he’s almost 10 years old!! He’s had to live a very disciplined life but at least he’s had a life to live and it’s all thanks to CASPER’s CAMP HOPE!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Casper Camp Hope. When I first brought my dog here, we were struggling with serious aggression issues—walks were stressful, visits from friends were impossible, and I worried constantly about his safety and ours.

From day one, the trainers were patient, knowledgeable, and completely dedicated to helping us succeed. They didn’t just “train” my dog—they took the time to understand his triggers, his body language, and the root cause of his behavior. Every step of the program was tailored to his needs, and I received clear guidance on how to continue the training at home.

The results have been incredible. My dog is calmer, more confident, and able to be around other people and dogs without the constant stress we once had. I’ve also learned so much about how to be a better, more confident leader for him.

If your dog struggles with aggression, do not hesitate—this camp is compassionate, professional, and truly life-changing. My only regret is not finding them sooner.

Amazing! I'm very thankful that they were able to train our kora (chocolate lab) since she was 20 weeks to be my husband's support dog! They are amazing!! Made us realize the silly stuff we (owners) do to enable the dog to do whatever it wants. Yes the dog will learn commands, but it also help the owners to be "leaders of the pack". If I have a concern, I can reach out to them (Jimmy and Dania) and they are more than willing to give me pointers on what to do. Thank you for the amazing work you do!!!

We had our Giant Schnauzer puppy Lucy do her basic functional obedience training at Casper's. Although I was initially apprehenisive about board-and-train programs, this was the best money we have ever spent. Lucy was on her way to becoming an unruly and destructive adolescent dog when Jimmy and Dania stepped in to save us. The team at Casper's loved our dog and helped her build her self-awareness and impulse control. Lucy came back to us a different dog (still the same goofy and boistrous spirit) but now with obedience and self control. She was returned happy, clean and in great condition. Lucy is now so much happier knowing what is expected of her. Having a calm well-mannered dog is such a gift to our family. We could not have trained this difficult breed on our own. Jimmy and Dania spent many hours working with us and our kids to get to know Lucy's commands and handling. I recently dropped Lucy back off at Casper's for a weekend boarding and she was so excited to see her old friends. It was clear she had good memories of her experience. We hope to keep working with Jimmy and his team for more advanced training as Lucy gets older. So happy to have found Casper's.
